Since 2006, students from the history and civilization program at Collège Laflèche have had the opportunity to discover the hidden side of Old Trois-Rivières through an archaeological field workshop. Conducted as part of a cultural development agreement between the City of Trois-Rivières, the ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition féminine and Collège Laflèche, these meticulous searches into the depths of our past, first uncovered the treasures of Place d’Armes before moving on to Parc de la Vérendrye.

As the artifacts found were numerous and interesting, they had to be put on display. So the students from Collège Laflèche swapped their trowels and buckets for paper and pen to propose to the population an exhibition to be held on our premises every year.

Let’s discover their treasure troves!
